How often should I have my blades and bits sharpened?
You should have you blades or bits sharpened as soon as you feel they are not doing
the job, prolonged use can damage your equipment. Here are a few signs of a blade
that is in need to be sharpened are: chipping, burning or discoloration of the wood,
smaller chips, increased cutting noise, and even smoke.
When should I just replace my blades?
When the cost of sharpening or repairing a blade exceeds more than half the the
cost of a new one, you may want to consider replacing it.
How long should I expect my blades to last?
Normal industrial quality carbide saw blades could last through 15 sharpenings,
provided the blades are sharpened as needed. Excessive use of a blade without regular
sharpening will shorten the life of the blade.
How quickly can you sharpen my blades?
No job is too large or to small for us to sharpen. Shipped in orders are
sharpened and usually sent back out in two to four work days from the day they arrive.
