Shipping Your Order To Us

You may send your sharpening orders to us through either UPS or Post Office. All items in your order should be well protected, with cardboard, between each saw blade.   'Shipping peanuts' are a good idea to fill space so the tools don't hit each other during shipping.  Make sure all smaller items like router bits, planer blades are secure (tape to the inside of pouch or box if needed)  and not lying loose in the box.  Please note that shipping pouches or envelopes are NOT a safe way to ship sharp tools.  Planer blades ship well in round shipping tubes.  We use your packaging to return your order, so please do not use plastic pouches or other one time use packaging, cardboard boxes are the best, Post Office Flat rate boxes work very well.  Please note that orders with insufficient return postage will be held until funds are received.

Include our order form with your order. Make sure our form  includes your name, shipping/mailing list, phone number, email address if you have one, and a complete listing of types and quantities of blades and tools you have sent to be sharpened. Please enclose payment with your order. Please note that orders with insufficient return postage will be held until funds are received.  If you have any specific instructions for your order, please make sure your request is marked on the order form .

We offer return shipping by US Post Office or UPS WITH INCLUDED PREPAID LABEL ONLY.  No return shipping by FedEx, see home page.  UPS outlets have raised prices and most include extra handling charges, so we only return ship UPS with a prepaid return label included with your order.  Please contact UPS to see how to get a prepaid label.  Sorry for any inconvenience, but local shippers have gone out of business.

The US Post Office now has three different size "Flat rate boxes"  up to 70 pounds.  These boxes have a big red dot proclaiming them as Flat Rate Boxes. A good deal.  Please also let us know how much, if any, insurance you want your order insured for on return shipping, include insurance cost with your order.  We do not accept any responsibility for lost or damaged items during transit, insurance is your choice at your cost.

Return Shipping & Shipping Charges

All orders are sent back via, USPS Priority mail or Parcel Post, your choice, your cost.   Please let us know how much if any insurance you want your order insured for on return shipping.  At this time the Post Office seems to be faster than UPS.

You can figure your own return shipping charge at www.ups.com or www.usps.com , our zip code is 64661. . We do not charge handling charges, only the shipping cost charged by the shippers.  Insufficient funds will delay your order.

Please note that payment is with money order or check.  If you have any questions, email us.

If you send us an order that we can not sharpen and you wish to have your order back you will need to pay the return shipping charges before we send your order back to you.
